Dear Chuck and Carl,

Mel and I wanted to thank you for all you do to make it possible for HOWCO customers to enjoy the overwhelmingly positive experiences we've had over the last seven months. We are very grateful, too, that your services included the invaluable training session we enjoyed in Charlotte last week -- from which we've almost recovered and may actually find the courage to repeat before we open.

We were indeed fortunate to have "found" our way to the HOWCO booth in Louisville last summer. The entire HOWCO team -- including David Wallace, Rick, Ed, Frank and everybody else I may be momentarily forgetting -- is simply fantastic to work with. David W. has been incredibly knowledgeable, patiently helpful and consistently available with and for us along our sometimes staggering learning curve! Far more than our "equipment rep," David has become a trusted friend we know we can count on throughout the length of our project and beyond.

AND it was David who directed us to Pedro, under whose impeccable tutelage and hands-on-training last week, NO stone was left unturned (or perhaps I should say no car left unwashed). By Sunday, we were painfully and happily exhausted, but far more confident we could and would "wash a good car" --maybe even in a somewhat timely fashion! Certainly our employees can never say we don't know how hard they work. (If only we had a videotape of us contorting our middle aged bodies into small cars, vacuuming fast as lightening, or detailing monstrously large SUV's and limos, etc. -- all under Pedro's smiling "scrutiny!") You may have heard the tale, how after "washing" 300 cars before noon, Pedro shouted over the drone of the vacuums, "Isn't this FUN?" My reply was a definitive "No!" (In truth, it was...kind of...) As well you know, Pedro's an amazingly gifted teacher HOWCO's extremely lucky to have. We'd like to add our sincerest accolades to the many we're sure he's already gleaned.

We're also very grateful to and for Manager David Medlin who diligently provided us with expert guidance in the art of car washing, as well as much needed advice with regards to day-to-day operations, employee hiring and management thereof. He's a conscientious, skilled and thoughtful manager -- another HOWCO gem I'm sure you're more than pleased to have on board.

Thank you again for allowing neophytes like us to benefit from your years of wisdom and experience. (Knowing we have David, Pedro and the rest, for continued support may be why we're getting ANY sleep at all these pre-opening days.) Thankfully, we look forward to operating a terrific car wash come Spring 2007! Please come and see us then.
