At the 2008 Southeastern Car Wash Association Expo (SECWA), Beach Buffers received an award for Best Media Coverage - Going Green Award. Beach Buffers Car Wash and Detail Center is a full service car wash located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Their grand opening was in March of 2006.

Owners Ken and Marcia LaPoint express their experience with HOWCO: "In the past two years, [they've] had the service team out for normal maintenance and [they] can't say enough good things about Dave Bergstrom. He takes the time to make the repair or maintenance and point out any preventative maintenance."

Recently, Beach Buffers Car Wash and Detail Center was voted Best Car Wash by the Carolina Forest Chronicle for the third year in a row: 2009, 2010 and 2011.
