FIN DRYER ATTACHMENT FOR EQ AND CONCORDE SERIES DRYERS
The Fin Dryer Attachment has not only proved effective in smaller tunnels, but is now being regularly used as a finish type dryer in longer and faster moving conveyors. Through years of trial and development, Hanna is confident the current version is ready to provide the long life and high value expected from Hanna components in the USA. Made of stainless steel for years of use and easily fitted to either the Concorde or EQ Series blowers (both 10 HP and 15 HP models) the Fin Dryer Attachment System uses a rugged synthetic fabric to direct air flow and protect against incident from longer non-standard mirrors. The small fabric nozzle is attached to a stainless steel manifold which allows it to be replaced similar to replacing the cloth on Hanna's C-Channel washers. The Fin Dryer Attachment System easily retrofits to any existing overhead Hanna Concorde or EQ Dryer. The compact design only requires a 12-foot wide tunnel for installation.
Eliminate the expense, time and labor to pre-wash grills, license plates, and headlights as well as to remove bugs and other caked on road grime. Hanna's Grill Washes is two washers in one. It follows and cleans the complete front and vertical surface of the vehicle safely and then follows smoothly and safely to wash the tall side surfaces. Hanna's standard 70" brush height allows for cleaning of the high SUV's and Vans. The Grill and Side Washer is gentle and cannot bend license plates because the washers rotate at the vehicle like a side brush (in the opposite rotation of the Flex Wrap Washers). They provide the necessary force to clean with no prepping. Hanna's Grill Washer can be fitted with Hanna Soft Cloth or Lite Foam material. Simple Shocks and Pneumatic controls allows the operator the flexibility to control pressure against the vehicle. This is of particular importance depending on the speed of the conveyor. For operators who own a Hanna Side Washer or Angled Side Washer, a kit will be available to convert this component at a reduced cost. This mitter material absorbs and retains water better than any mitter available. Its soft synthetic pile remains highly saturated and the resulting weight creates friction against the vehicle with minimal mitter action. The result is improved penetration and cleaning. This includes areas like the eye-brow of the front and rear windshield as well as bug and road grime on the front hood. The soft yet highly absorbent and long wearing material can be easily attached to any Hanna Mitter as well as those of our competitors; however it is perhaps best suited for use with the S-20 mitter. The S-20 Side to Side Mitter Curtain has been available for more than a generation and has spawned countless copies. This simple yet rugged design combines relative low cost and a very small operating space. It is not only an industry standard, but it continues to be a reliable platform when integrating new cloth designs. The gently side-to-side action of the S-20 is a perfect match for the weight and pull of the Plush material. This combination allows a fuller mitter pack with Plush material; yet transfers less torque to the motor and drive components for longer wear. HANNA'S CAM BRUSH Definition of CAM: "...an irregularly shaped projection on a rotating shaft that changes rotary motion into a reciprocating motion..." The word CAM best describes the design concept behind the new Hanna CAM tire and Wheel brush. With its alternating staggered bristle lengths and sections, Hanna's CAM Tire and Wheel brush improves contact time while reaching deeper into rims and allowing increased dwell time when compared to the standard step brush or poodle brush. The CAM brush is constructed with a series of rings that slide over the core and are locked into place. This is important because the entrance and exit sections of the brush always wear faster. The modular design allows operators to replace each section separately. The ability to replace or rotate small worn sections quickly and easily will increase the life of the brush. Operators can save time and money on maintenance by replacing only the parts of the brush that are worn. This year, Hanna Carwash Systems introduced a number of new components in addition to displaying a full complement of their best selling components. The Car Care Expo marked the USA's introduction of the Fin Dryer attachment which will be available for both the EQ and Concorde Series dryers. Also on display was a new Grill and Side Washer component. Hanna also displayed the S-20 with a new cloth material and a Step Wheel Washer with a new brush design.
Hanna's Fin Dryer Attachment is the ideal solution for drying the side vertical surfaces of the vehicle. Now in its third generation design, Hanna has been offering versions of the Fin Dryer Attachment in Europe for 10 years. The product excelled as a primary drying component for shorter conveyor systems and required less power consumption. The most recent version has shown excellent results when attached to Hanna's EQ Series dryers running on as little as 10 HP.
